Technical skills developed during the course of the AS year.

Throughout the AS year I learnt various skills like:

Camerawork skills: Using the camera with a tripod to get steady shots and using handheld for tracking type shots or following the character, this helped in many ways with effects (like somebody running)

Blogging skills: using Blogger to post our video's progress as well as delivering detailed blogs for planning and research, progress within the group and showing drafts of our video. It had encouraged me to make my very own personal blog

Conversion skills: Using Handbrake to convert our thrillers so they could go on blogger and QuickTime player

Editing Skills: I used a program on the MAC computers called Final Cut Pro to edit our thrillers, making transitions, editing still shots, merging sound from another program called soundtrack pro. Also merging text from a program called live type into final cut pro for our thrillers, arranging images on timeline, using different effects such as slow motion, reversal of time etc.
