02 Things We Learned Last Year

• Filming A music video

I didn't realise how long and monotonous making a lip-sync would be in comparison to the short film we made. In the short film, we did have hundreds of shots however, they where just quick 10 second takes so if we messed up the shot it wasn't really a problem. But when we where making the lip-sync we had to play through the whole song from every different angle. So if the shot got messed up we had to start all over again one time we got to the last 5 seconds of the shot and some random man decided to walk right infront of the camera. 

• Editing 

Because of the way its filmed, editing a lip-sync was much easier than the short film. All we had to do is cut to the right shot to fit the backing track.
