I think that Kanye West power capsulated the true essence of what a real music video is. It attracts attention and provokes controversy. There are loads of videos on youtube linking the video to the illuminaty its a still image that has been brought to life because it is so different compared to all the other videos of the same genre in term of cinematography.

The biblical references in this Lady Gaga video where controversial. So even people who didn't like the song would watch the video because of the amount of "hype" surrounding it. This video was successful because it has 109,447,848 views and is still growing in numbers
