Post an Analysis of the original video, stating clearly how our video will differ

Devlin's music video, runaway, of many situations that relate to the lyrics. We see four stories happening withing the video and the story is told with the lyrics and the characters.

In our music video, we are going to have only one storyline and it is based on a guy running away for a reason but at the end of the song, he reasons with himself that running away is not the answer to his problems, and decides to come back home.

The locations that we have planned to shoot our music video to Devlin- Runaway, are very different from the locations seen in his music video because we are illustrating a story different to his multiple stories. Our locations are more city based and also in deserted areas of the city that we live in (like old markets, canals and other places that people rarely visit nowadays)

Also, in our music video we have decided for our Devlin (Denzel) to narrate in the background of story and do the lyrics as well. So unlike where Devlin is in one scene, and another scene a story is being told, we have decided to merge the two together.

Also, in Devlin's music video, you rarely see the two artists come together (well you only actually see them at the end in the last chorus), we want to have more scenes with the two performers performing together. There will possibly be a lot of cross action between the two artists that are narrating and the characters that are illustrating the story of the lyrics.
