The Editing Process.

Personally I feel the editing process is going well as I feel all of our shots are coming together nicely and hope it continues in this fashion until the end of the filming and editing process. In our video we are trying to use as much as technical edits as possible without the video itself looking cheesy and unattractive. As me and Shazray are the most experience with the editing and are most comfortable using the software Final Cut Pro we have decided a numerous amount of times to meet outside the lesson for more editing which is then reviewed by the rest of the group 14 members to see if they approve of what we have done and if it can be improved in anyway. Most importantly when we enter any effect or slide, wipes ECT we get approval from the our teachers and get there opinion as they are the most experienced in this sector. Personally I enjoy editing as you get to put all the clips from the long filming days together and try to make our Music video memorable and effective which gives me a buzz to edit for a whole 9-5pm day without getting bored. At times editing can be frustrating as sometimes your footage may not reach your requirements which can force you to re-film certain parts. For example when we 1st filmed the opening argument scene with Shazray and Mariama when we imported the footage into Final Cut Pro we had a MASSIVE problem with the lighting which then forced us to go and re-film that whole sequence which was stressful but in the end definitely worth it.
