From this cd cover i like the positioning of the artist and text thats the layout i plan to use for my album cover but i'm not a big fan of the colour scheme despite the bright yellow text it still doesn't grab attention the way i want my album cover to. The black makes it look rather dull and thats not how i want my artist to be represented. There ae images in the background but they're too dark to see if i do decide to use other images in the video i would want them to be obvious and meaningful to potential customers.
On This Meek Mill mixtape cover i love the background, colour scheme, detail. The connotations of the smoke flowing from the artist mouth is considered cool in the hip-hop genre to young people our target audience. But it also represents a dreamlike state relating to the name of the mixtape dreamchaser. I also like the font and the opacity level because they are clear but not too distracting.
